However, it wasn't long before his secret life was revealed - he's a married man, and his wife Debbie is in a coma following a stroke.
As his relationship with Sonia developed, Reiss began stealing from Debbie to pay for their IVF treatment, eventually draining her bank accounts.
This week, his financial troubles escalated when Debbie's care home demanded payment or threatened to remove her. On the same day, Sonia discovered she was pregnant, adding to their financial stress.
