Drivers urged to take care as Met Office issues yellow weather warning for snow

Lanarkshire travellers are being warned to follow transport advice as a yellow warning for ice and snow comes into force across the country.Temperatures are expected to drop to -4C with up to 20cm of snow falling on high ground.An earlier Met Office alert for the North of Scotland has now reached Central Scotland.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

There may also be disruption on other modes of transport, so please check before setting off."There are some delays on the roads, including the M74 and the M8.
