Driver ends up stuck in hole after ploughing through roadwork barriers

A Huddersfield driver who tested positive for cocaine smashed their car into a hole while roadworks were ongoing. Photos shared by West Yorkshire Police show how the silver car crashed into a hole in the road on Dale Streer, Milnsbrudge.

The driver was also found to only be in possession of a provisional driving licence and no insurance, Yorkshire Live reports.

Drug driving offences are now covered by Lillian's Law - named after Lillian Groves, 14, who was knocked and killed by a speeding driver who had taken cannabis.
