Desperate search for owner of grey parrot found in Scots town saying 'good morning' and 'Alfie'

A desperate search has been launched for the owner of a grey parrot that has been found in a town near Glasgow.The exotic bird was discovered next to a canal path in the Linnvale area in Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire, on Thursday.It was found saying 'good morning' and the name 'Alfie'.

The Parrot has since been moved to the Scottish SPCA's Dumbarton centre and the rescue team are appealing for information.Anyone who knows who the pet might belong to is urged to get in touch with the charity.The SSPCA said: "Please note, this is not a rehoming post.

Please only contact us if you have relevant information."This parrot was found next to the canal path in the Linnvale area, G81 area around 01/08/24."He was found saying 'good morning' and the name 'Alfie'.
