A dad has been applauded after admitting he refuses to treat his daughter and stepdaughter equally. The father said both teenagers live under his roof and are only a year apart in age.
The girls are incredibly different and they also earn completely different salaries at their part-time jobs. He said he deliberately makes sure things are not financially equitable between the two, which is now causing a disagreement in the blended family. "My wife and I each brought a daughter from previous relationships into our marriage," he said. "My daughter has always been athletic and outgoing.
Growing up, she played basketball, softball, soccer, volleyball, and even golf."Posting on on Reddit, he added: "In middle school, she picked up tennis and never looked back.
I paid for her to have private lessons and when she found out how much I was paying for those lessons, she decided that's what she wanted to do as her teenage job."The clearly happy and proud father talks about his hard-working daughter and her success both at playing and coaching tennis, and how she has reaped the financial rewards, reports the Mirror. The dedicated teenager is doing well for herself as she is one of the best tennis players on her school team while also teaching tennis lessons.
