Coronation Street's Peter Barlow exit scenes teased in new pictures with Christmas departure from Weatherfield

Chris briefly revealed in July that he will be leaving the role after becoming the seventh actor to play Ken Barlow's son in 2000.
But a Coronation Street spokesperson said at the time that the door is 'left open' - meaning the 55-year-old could return in the future.
And the new pictures appear to prove just that. The ITV soap is currently in the process of filming the sad farewell scenes, which ware expected to air on Boxing Day this year and it appears Peter is set to leave on a tram.
