Coronation Street unveils Carla Connor's new family member in Christmas twist - and he's played by a familiar face

The character has recently been seen rushing off to Spain to try and save a business deal after the now departed Stephen Reid stole nearly £250,000 from Underworld.
But her exit came just after her husband had been questioned on suspicion of murder, after mowing down the broke businessman-turned-serial killer as he threatened Jenny Connor in the middle of the street.
Peter had not realised Stephen had let her go a split second before the impact of his taxi. And as Carla's life looks set to be turned upside down in the process, she's now set to get an unexpected Christmas present this festive season in the shape of a surprise family member - played by a familiar face.
