Coronation Street actor Joe Duttine has opened up about the reality of working with his wife, and fellow co-star, Sally Carman.

After meeting on the set of the ITV soap, the pair, who play Tim Metcalfe and Abi Franklin on the cobbles, tied the knot back in July 2022 after a few years of dating and announced the happy news in a heartwarming Instagram post.

However, despite working together, 53 year old Joe has spoken about the realities of working on set with Sally, 42, during an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine on Monday 9 October.

When asked by Lorraine Kelly how he felt about not doing many scenes with Sally while on the soap, he said that the experience would be “odd” if it was any different.
