Essex Police confirmed that the suspect was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of conspiracy to kidnap and is in custody, reports the Mirror.The force said: "A 36-year-old man from Harlow has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to kidnap as part of an ongoing investigation.
The arrest was made on Wednesday 4 October. He is currently in custody."On Friday morning's Lorraine, the Scots star acknowledged that her co-worker was on the front page of newspapers after an alleged kidnap threat.
Lorraine informed viewers as to why Holly was missing from the famous sofa on Thursday's This Morning show, reaching out to the star.Lorraine said: "Very upsetting and of course we're sending her all of our love and best wishes.
