The 60 year old actress has revealed how her character Sally Metcalfe becomes increasingly concerned next week that husband Tim, played by Joe Duttine, has become the murderer’s fourth victim in a final twist.
Sally has been unaware of Stephen’s crimes but begins to worry when other Weatherfield residents vow to bring down the killer, played by Todd Boyce.
Now, actress Sally has opened up on the moment her character begins to fear for Tim. It comes after a body is found in the canal - but viewers already know that it isn’t Tim’s - it’s Teddy Thompkins.
Speaking to the Mirror, Sally said: "She's in Roy's Rolls with Gail, when Elaine comes in and says that the Platts have all been chatting, and Stephen has murdered people that he didn't get on with.
