The ITV soap has already confirmed that by the end of Friday night's episode (October 13), Stephen Reid will have exited Weatherfield.
It's been just over a year since Todd Boyce reprised the role of Stephen in the ITV soap, 15 years after he was last seen on the famous street and 26 years after making his debut in the role of Audrey's son.
But it'd be fair to say that Corrie fans have been hoping to witness Stephen's demise. And this week viewers are seeing the desperate serial killer plotting his escape to Thailand but he wasted no time in attacking Tim Metcalfe whose digging around the canal led to the shocking discovery of the body in a car roof box.
