Jodie Prenger might be storming screens on Coronation Street as Rovers Return barmaid Glenda Shuttleworth - who is currently suing her brother George as they feud over their dad’s will - but her real life is just as chaotic as any situation her character might find herself in.The 45 year old joined the show two years ago – fulfilling a lifelong dream to work on the cobbles - but she first rose to fame in the BBC talent show I'd Do Anything in 2008.

In recent years she has starred on the West End stage, but until then Jodie spent 10 years trying to make it as a singer on the club and cabaret circuit, while working as a nail technician to make ends meet.
