Manchester United are reportedly considering opening contract talks with Aaron Wan-Bissaka to complete an unexpected comeback story.
Erik ten Hag did not have the English defender in his plans last summer and made Wan-Bissaka available for transfer. However, no move materialised and after working with the United coaches, Wan-Bissaka convinced Ten Hag he could fit his style.
Now, United are reportedly open to contract talks with Wan-Bissaka. He has 12 months left on his contract with the option for United to further that by 12 months.
That's according to The Mail, who say Wan-Bissaka would be due an increase on his £100,000-a-week deal. The defender could start United's opening Premier League match of the season against Wolves ahead of Diogo Dalot.
