Cole Palmer is 'looking forward' to welcoming Manchester City to Stamford Bridge on Sunday in what will be his first game against his former club since joining Chelsea.
Palmer's deadline-day exit from City came as a huge surprise, following the acceptance of a £42.5million deal with Chelsea. There were no plans to sell the 21-year-old, particularly so late in the window, but the offer coming from London was one that could not be refused by the club.
Since arriving at Stamford Bridge, Palmer has been able to get the consistent minutes he craved, registering three goals and four assists in 10 appearances across all competitions.
On Sunday, he will likely start against his former side when City head south for a crucial Premier League clash.
