Clever £1.14 sofa cleaning hack to remove stubborn stains 'effortlessly'

Nobody wants to have to fork out more money for a sofa because it certainly doesn't come cheap, and there's nothing more annoying than having a stubborn stain which just won't come out and you end up replacing your beloved comfy sofa.

Thankfully a cleaning expert has shared her tip for getting rid of those pesky marks without any fuss and even better yet - costing only £1.14 as interior guru Anna Louisa shared her simple trick on social media.Those trying out her trick will need a few household items such as a saucepan lid and some kitchen cupboard essentials, according to reports who spotted the hack on TikTok by Anna under the username @anna_louisa_at_home."Add one tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda, one teaspoon of dish soap, and warm water to a bowl," Anna explained according to the Mirror as she added that you will then need to soak your cloth in the bowl, before ringing it out.Use the cloth to cover the pan lid, it should mould easily around the shape, but you can use a hair band to secure it firmly in place. "Use it to scrub your sofa, rinsing and repeating every now and then," added Anna.After scrubbing the sofa, Anna pointed out the dirt that was left on her cloth, saying: "Wait until you see the colour of the cloth.
