Christian Slater Gets to Work Filming 'Dexter' Prequel Series 'Original Sin' in L.A.
justjared.comProduction for the Dexter prequel series has officially begun! Christian Slater was seen arriving on set of Dexter: Original Sin to film a few scenes on Tuesday (July 9) in Los Angeles.
The 54-year-old actor was seen rocking longer sideburns while wearing an army green jacket over a black T-shirt paired with jeans and brown boots as he filmed a scene where he arrested a man.
Dexter: Original Sin is a prequel series to the hit Showtime series that starred Michael C. Hall. The new series is set in 1991 Miami and revolves around Dexter (Patrick Gibson) as he goes from student to avenging serial killer.
With guidance from his father, Harry (Slater), Dexter adopts a Code designed to help him find and kill people without being discovered by law enforcement at the same time as he begins a forensics internship at the Miami Metro Police Department, according to THR.
