Crocked Luis Palma is reportedly ahead of schedule in his Celtic injury return and could return to the squad for the blockbuster clash with Rangers.The winger has not featured for Brendan Rodgers' side since February in the 7-1 defeat after picking up a knick in training and missed his countries crucial Copa America playoff with Costa Rica with the muscle injury - with Celtic winning a tug of war with the Honduras FA over the knock.
After a lengthy absence he could be in line to make his return against Ibrox.The Sun report that Brendan Rodgers is in line for a derby boost and will be involved in training this week ahead of the Scottish Premiership leaders trip across Glasgow to face Philippe Clement's side.
It is claimed that If Palma comes through those sessions with no reaction "he will almost certainly go into Rodgers' squad" to face Rangers.It comes after Reo Hatate and Liam Scales both returned from injury in the win over Livingston.
Captain Callum McGregor is in the running to also return at Ibrox.However, Chris Sutton has warned Rodgers' that he should only bring the skipper in if he is fully fit.
