Carol Vorderman has shared an emotional message with fans after she was axed from her weekly BBC Radio Wales show. The TV and radio star, 62, left the show due to new social media guidelines, as she said that she was "not prepared to lose my voice." Carol has been an outspoken critic of the current Tory government on social media, which would be in breach of the new rules brought in by the broadcaster, in the wake of the controversy surrounding tweets posted by Gary Lineker earlier this year.
Following her final broadcast, Carol shared a video with her fans thanking them for their support. She said: "I've just got home from as you might imagine a busy day and I want to say from my heart thank you I am overwhelmed by all of your support, it's just extraordinary. "You know we're all in this together and we will, absolutely will, make it right.
Because you, are bloody marvellous. You are." She posted the clip to Instagram, alongside the caption: "A clip from last night when I got home.
So overwhelmed with your support.Thank you all." The video was met with an outpouring of support from her followers, with one writing: "Strong women and people who speak the truth.
