British influencer, 21, defends relationship with 16-year-old boy
ok.co.ukA 21-year-old British influencer has hit back in defence of her relationship with a 16-year-old after their age gap sparked backlash online, stating she would "live her life how she wants to live her life".Tasha Newcombe, who has 286k followers on TikTok, went public with her relationship with 16-year-old Marko Vituk, but received backlash online, It didn’t go unnoticed by the couple, who have appeared on a string of podcasts after people branded them "insane".Tasha also previously took to her own TikTok page to address the controversy, as she said she was initially unsure about pursuing Mark, who has also made a name for himself as an online influencer.
However, Tasha went on to continue that the pair had a “healthy, loving relationship.” She said: “Although my relationship is very new, I just have to say that this boy is genuinely the most mature, kind, loving person I’ve ever been in a relationship with.
I will not stand for hate, directed at me, my friends or family.” The influencer also stated people were allowed to have their opinions, but it seems it’s not just ‘strangers’ online who have strong opinions.
On podcast The Blue Tick show, Tasha shared a story about a friend of 11 years who cut her off because of her relationship with 16-year-old Marko.
