"Will it ever end?": The night-time menace causing havoc on the streets of Oldham
manchestereveningnews.co.ukFurious residents in Oldham have said they are 'sick to death' of nuisance fireworks being repeatedly let off in the early hours of the morning.
Police have said they are planning on tackling the issue along with the council, after receiving reports of 'fireworks being let off at all hours of the night' that has been going on for a number of months.
Posts in local social media groups by those living in the borough have recently slammed those letting off the fireworks which are booming over houses after the legal time of 11pm. The displays take place so late they regularly wake those with jobs and young children – the bangs often continuing up until 1am.
