Louis Theroux, the renowned journalist and documentary filmmaker, has revealed his latest venture into the world of pop culture.
The esteemed BBC personality is set to produce an upcoming documentary delving into the frenzy of boyband popularity throughout the 90s and early 2000s.
Titled Boybands Forever, the documentary is scheduled to premiere on BBC Two this Autumn and promises candid interviews with industry heavyweights such as Robbie Williams and Simon Cowell.
Discussing his new project, Louis shared his excitement: "I couldn't be more thrilled about this series. An epic story featuring a cast of stars and star-makers, spanning three decades, it involves some of the icons of modern British pop." "We see them through their highs and lows, hearing from the key players, as we chart the golden years of boy bands.", reports the Express. "How they came together, the experience of sudden fame, the opportunity and temptations that came their way, conflicts within the groups, between the groups, and between the boys and their managers." Having worked on the documentary for over a year, Louis is eager to present it to viewers.
