BREAKING: Police release number plates of two cars they are hunting after shooting

A police investigation is underway after gunshots were fired at a house in Wigan. Police were scrambled to the scene of the shooting of Fisher Close at around 10pm on Saturday night (July 8).

They found shots had been blasted at a property. No-one was injured in the incident. No arrests have been made yet, police said. Officers believe that two cars may have been used by the suspects in the build-up to the shooting. The first is a black Vauxhall Corsa, with the registration PK21NBB.

The second is a black Peugeot 308 with the registration YD59 RVJ. Both of these cars have now been recovered. Anyone who has any CCTV or dashcam footage of these vehicles is being urged to contact police, particularly anyone who saw them in the Abram area or on the streets of Rose Avenue, Prestt Grove and Fisher Close.
