Boxing fans are in for a treat on Saturday evening as Jack Catterall finally steps toe-to-toe with Regis Prograis, with the winner expected to earn himself a world title shot.

The pair were meant to face each other in August, but the fight was pushed back after Catterall suffered an unspecified injury.

The Chorley native, 31, has bounced back after his controversial defeat to Josh Taylor in 2022 with three wins on the bounce, the last of which coming against Taylor in their highly-anticipated rematch back in March.

Prograis, meanwhile, hasn't fought since losing to Devin Haney 10 months ago, and has a defeat to Taylor on his resume. Though being a former world champion, the American, 35, certainly still packs a punch, and won't be a pushover.
