Bolton motorcyclist dies after crash as roads remain closed through town

A 27-year-old motorcyclist died after a crash in Bolton. Police were called to Moss Bank Way following an incident on Tuesday, June 14.

Officers say the bike was travelling through the area between 10.40pm and 11.10pm, when it was involved in a crash. The incident is said to have happened between Captains Clough Road and Halliwell Road.

Emergency services attended the scene but the rider was pronounced dead. A number of roads are closed in the area while investigation work takes place. Emergency services attended but, sadly, the motorcyclist died at the scene. "Moss Bank Way is currently closed between the junction of Captains Clough Rd and Halliwell Rd while investigations are underway.
