Body of missing Faslane sailor formally identified by police

Police have confirmed that the body of a man recovered from the water off Helensburgh has been formally identified as sailor Josh Gayton.

Josh, 21, who served at the Naval Base on the Clyde, was last seen in Argyll and Bute town in the early hours of April 16, but officers announced on Sunday night that a body had been recovered.The young sailor was reported missing after concerns were raised when he didn't show up for work at the nearby Faslane Navy base.
