Big Brother has made its long-awaited return to UK television since it was axed back in 2018, however, one change has left longtime fans rather disappointed.
Unlike previous series of the show, first on Channel 4 and then Channel 5, the ITV take on the show has a pre-recorded launch show.
Previous editions had always have live launches, and this change has left viewers rather disappointed, as they took to social media.
Posting to X, formerly Twitter, one viewer complained: "cannot articulate how much of an awful decision it was to pre-record #BigBrotherUK and edit the launch #bbuk But can we please hear a little commotion for AJ’s bodysuit" "Okay I’m not a fan of the launch not being live it’s far too edited. #bbuk" added another, while a third penned: "Probably too soon to say but this isn’t working without the live element, Davina or Emma #BBUK" And a fourth added: "Hating the pre-recorded vibe already.
