However, in the 28 years since bidding farewell to the cult TV show, Gabrielle has undergone a remarkable transformation. Still sporting her character’s classic thick-rimmed glasses, Gabrielle now wears her blond hair short with a wispy fringe in contrast to her character’s big dark curls.
From 1990 to 1995, Gabrielle brought Andrea Zuckerman to life, portraying the overachieving character who grappled with unrequited love for Brandon Walsh.
The actress, who reportedly shaved a few years off her age to land the role, claiming to be 21 instead of 29, played the "nerd" of the group, who edited the school newspaper but eventually turned down Yale in order to stay with her friends.
