Jason Orange has been spotted wrapped up against the cold in London, in a rare sighting of the reclusive former Take That star. The 53 year old ex-singer has lived ‘off-grid’ in his Cotswolds country home, ever since he shocked fans by quitting the popular group 10 years ago.

Former bandmates described how he had stopped responding to emails and calls in his bid to stay out of the limelight. Now pictures have emerged of Jason looking very different to his Take That heyday – sporting a salt and pepper beard and keeping cosy in a Dry Robe, teamed with a grey hoodie, scarf and beanie, as well as some huge fawn mittens and suede boots – as he strolled around London's Hampstead.

He was intently listening to something on his earphones. The pictures have emerged as Take That prepare to embark on their latest world tour, This Life On Tour, starting in Sheffield on 13 April and finishing in Auckland, New Zealand on 14 November.

In 1990, Jason was one of the founding members of Take That – along with Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Robbie Williams.
