Beabadoobee has shared that she is “really nervous” but excited to play this year’s edition of Reading & Leeds festival.Speaking to NME in a new interview about her new album ‘This Is How Tomorrow Moves‘, working with Rick Rubin and opening for Taylor Swift on her ‘Eras’ tour, the ‘Take A Bite’ singer opened up about her upcoming performances at the twin festivals next week (August 22-25).Beabadoobee – real name Beatrice Kristi Laus – is set to top the bill on the Radio 1 stage at the festivals. “I’m really nervous,” she said. “Inevitably, you’re gonna clash with someone.

I’m terrified no one’s gonna watch me!”Though she admitted that she has nerves about the performance, the singer went on to say: “It’s going to be amazing; I can’t wait to play to everyone.”The ‘Talk’ singer last played the festivals back in 2022 when she headlined the Festival Republic stage.

Speaking about her performance, Laus told NME: “I had a really good time when they played there last time. We ended on ‘Cologne’, and I just looked to the crowd and thought, ‘Well, this is probably like the biggest crowd we’ve ever played to’.“That was a really crazy moment for me.

I’m trying to think of funny stories, but I never really got fucked up in Reading! I’ve been quite well-behaved. The 16-year-olds do that for me.
