Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Baby Bank Scotland appeal for new Lanarkshire premises after flood destroys current home

A vital service that provides baby goods to struggling parents across Lanarkshire have made an emotional appeal to find new premises, after their current space was destroyed by flood water.

Back in December, volunteers at Baby Bank Scotland, housed within the North Stand at Hamilton Accies Football Club, were devastated to learn that a burst water tank had swamped their unit, leaving thousands of items completely ruined.Despite their best efforts to drain and dry the area out, yesterday (Wednesday January 4) they discovered the flooring was still soaked with a "damp smell" rising within the room - meaning they will need to vacate the building altogether.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Baby Bank Scotland manager Jillian Thompson told Lanarkshire Live : "We were absolutely devastated to learn that our premises were flooded on December 17 due to a burst tank in the upper floor. "We moved quickly to save the goods within and had a lot of help from volunteers and local businesses across Lanarkshire who washed and dried some of the vital goods such as prams, highchairs, covers etc that had suffered water damage and we were hoping
