Lanarkshire author Sophie Gravia credits her Bellshill family for inspiring her to write her bestselling books A Glasgow Kiss, Meet Me In Milan and What Happens in Dubai.

Mum of two Sophie, whose new book Hot Girl Summer comes out on July 18, claims she couldn’t have done any of it without the vital support she had from her female relatives.

Sophie, who went to number one on Amazon after posting her first book online and has now sold over 400,000 copies of her books, explained: “I’m inspired by my family, I have a huge family of mostly women who all live beside one another in Bellshill, and they inspire me to believe in myself and work hard.
