Wind gusts are predicted to reach over 50mph during the massive low-pressure system, which is expected to hit on Tuesday, September 24, stretches from the Faroe Islands in the north down to Brest, France, in the south, reports the Mirror.Heavy rain is expected across much of the UK, except for East Anglia and a small part of Southeast England.
North Wales, especially in Eryi National Park (Snowdonia), is forecast to experience the heaviest rainfall, with an estimated 18 to 19mm expected to fall in just a few hours.
