A new Islamic school, regeneration around a train station and a new Lidl are some of the significant developments put before Greater Manchester this week.

The new school for the Rumworth area of Bolton would be independently run and cater for 200 students, plans have confirmed. Over in south Manchester there are plans to expand the Stockport Exchange next to the railway station to provide more office space for what is a more sought after business hub.
