It comes as a woman shared a clever cooking trick online for the perfect toastie.Also called grilled cheese sandwiches - often severed alone or alongside a bowl of soul-warming soup - they are a common lunch staple and are easy to make.Taking to the Facebook group Air Fryer: Easy Recipe, one woman said she is always generous with the amount of butter, applying it lavishly on both sides of the sandwich, says the Express.
She also adds garlic salt, a piece of deli ham, some American cheese, and a piece of Gouda.Prior to cooking the sandwich, she warms up her air fryer at about 190C (370F) for approximately five minutes.
She then cooks the sandwich for five more minutes, flipping it over halfway through.She wrote: "Oh my gosh, I tried an air fryer ham and cheese today, game changer.
