Abbey Clancy opens up about sex life in marriage to Peter Crouch
ok.co.ukAbbey Clancy has candidly discussed her intimate life with husband Peter Crouch on her podcast 'Exhibit A'. In a chat with psychosexologist and clinical psychologist Dr Karen Gurney, Abbey, 38, opened up about the importance of connection in her relationship.
She said: "For me, the connection side is really important." The model also touched on how motherhood can change perceptions, saying: "I know a lot of people say when they have kids they feel differently about themselves and they see themselves as a Mum and maybe their husband doesn't have that same desire towards them because now they're mum, they're not this hot fantasy woman any more." However, for Abbey, becoming a mum has only strengthened her bond with Peter, 43.
She added: "For me, I think that [the connection] has improved with having kids and being a mum, the connection", reports the Mirror.
Dr Karen chimed in, noting how the "drudgery of daily life can knock the enthusiasm for sex out of people". Later in the episode, Abbey shared her thoughts on maintaining intimacy after children, emphasising the importance of communication.
