The Strictly Come Dancing star has been spending periods of time away from home as he prepares for his return to the show. It was announced last month that Aljaz would be returning to the BBC One dance contest as one of the professional dancers following a two-year hiatus.
The 19-time Slovenian champion in Ballroom, Latin and Ten Dance previously appeared on the hit dance show for nine series, lifting the Glitterball in his debut year with Abbey Clancy in 2013 before later being runner-up in 2017 with celebrity partner, and now friend, Gemma Atkinson. This year is such a special one for this legendary show, I can’t wait to be a part of it and make my return to the dancefloor." Since then, Aljaz alongside his fellow pros have since joined creative director Jason Gilkinson as they started their work on the string of pro numbers that will feature throughout the series and set to be pre-recorded later this month.
