1% Club question so puzzling it wipes out a third of the studio - and leaves host Lee Mack gasping in shock
ok.co.ukThe 1% Club was left in chaos last night after a question that wiped out a third of the audience of players, to the surprise of the host, comedian Lee Mack.
During the episode on Saturday 18 May, a tricky question had the players stumped. It was: "Which of these would it be impossible to do? (A) Marry your cousin's cousin (B) Marry your brother's widow (C) Marry your widow's sister." The ITV hit sees 100 people competing for a £100,000 jackpot with a series of increasingly trick questions.
When the time was up, the correct solution was revealed and host Lee Mack exclaimed: "Wow.That is massive. 32 people went out on that one!" Lee confirmed the correct answer was C.
He then pointed out that: "you would not be able to marry your widow's sister as you would already be dead. Before we get any complaints - I accept that is a bit zombie-ist.” Lee then picked people out in the audience to ask which option they went for.
