A 21-year-old man who had a sudden seizure while at the gym has been diagnosed with cancer. Isaac collapsed at his gym in April and was rushed to hospital where an MRI and CT scan revealed he had a brain tumour.

The tumour turned out to be a grade 4 glioblastoma (GBM) - a notoriously aggressive type of cancer. Speaking about the experience, Coalville native Isaac said: "The seizure at the gym came completely out of the blue. "I felt totally normal, then suddenly, I'm lying in a hospital bed about to have MRI and CT scans.

Next thing I know, I'm being told I have an aggressive brain tumour, which I never thought would happen to me at just 21 years old." Remarkably, his family has managed to raise £162,000 for innovative immunotherapy treatment, hoping to train Isaac’s immune system to combat the cancer by potentially creating a vaccine from the very tumour afflicting him.
