Yorkshire Terrier duo looking for home together as they’re ‘like a married couple’

A doggy duo who have found themselves in rescue are looking for a home to take the pair on, as they’re never been apart their whole lives.

Ellie and Billy are two Yorkshire Terriers who are said to be ‘like a married couple’ and are hoping to find someone who will home them together.

The bonded pair arrived at Bury’s Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary in January 2023 after their owner ‘had too many animals to care for’.

They’re just two of the animals that Manchester Evening News have been trying to find a home for as part of our Give A Dog A Home feature, working with animal sanctuaries across Greater Manchester, including Dogs Trust, Manchester Dogs Home, Wigan’s Makants Greyhound Rescue and now, Bleakholt, in Bury.
