World-famous DJ's son, 18, died after leg pain from extremely rare cancer

The teenage son of a world-famous DJ tragically passed away after experiencing unexplained leg pain, which turned out to be cancer.

Earlier this month, staff from the school of Oliver Park – who was sadly just 18 when he died – recently honoured the memory of their student by participating in a 53-mile relay race.

Oliver was the son of DJ Graeme Park, the British house music DJ widely credited as one of the original founders of the UK's club scene as a leading figure of The Hacienda club in Manchester.

Olivier was diagnosed in December 2021 with a melanotic malignant nerve sheath tumour, an extremely rare type of sarcoma that accounts for just 0.02% of all cancers.
