Hamilton volunteer's plea to help fund vital research after husband's shock blood cancer diagnosis

A Hamilton woman is giving back to help fund vital blood cancer research that saved the life of her husband.Jude Irwin, 49, volunteered to raise funds for Blood Cancer UK after her husband Nige was diagnosed with a form of blood cancer in 2016.At the point of diagnosis, it was a bleak picture.

Even with incurable blood cancer and secondary complications, eight years on and thanks to research, he's still here.She’s now asking for volunteers to help raise funds and awareness for the charity so that others diagnosed with blood cancer also benefit.
