The World Cycling Championships has been halted after protestors 'glued themselves on the road'.Organisers have been forced to stop the men's road race after the protestors blocked a narrow stretch of the B818 in the Carron Valley area at around 11.20 am.It is believed that the riders are currently in Stirling and were approaching Crow Road when the incident happened.Commentators were unable to identify who the group are.It is believed that time gaps will be written down and race will restart when the road is clear.TV footage has shown police vehicles making their way through cyclists to the blockage.A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We’re aware of a protest in the Carron Valley area.
