Angelina Jolie Talks Broadway Project & How Daughter Vivienne Played a Role In Her Involvement

The Oscar-winning actress will be one of the lead producers on the musical and if the show is lucky enough to win Best Musical at the Tony Awards, she’ll receive the award!
The Outsiders is an adaptation of the beloved S.E. Hinton novel, which was turned into a 1983 movie. Angelina and her 15-year-old daughter Vivienne caught the musical’s pre-Broadway run in La Jolla, Calif.
and she decided to join the producing team. Vivienne also has a role on the project! Keep reading to find out more… “Viv reminds me of my mother in that she isn’t focused on being the center of attention but in being a support to other creatives,” Angelina told People. “She’s very thoughtful and serious about theatre and working hard to best understand how to contribute.” Angelina revealed that Vivienne will be a volunteer assistant on the production.
