Upon arrival, firefighters could see that the home had heavy smoke coming from it. But even worse, they saw that there was a woman at the back door who was horrifically injured.

As they did, a man later identified as 28-year-old Zachary Mowel walked up to police officers and, per WKRN, said: WOW… Cops arrested him and quickly identified that the injured woman was his wife, Tessa.
