dailyrecord.co.ukA woman subjected to a horrific attack which saw her jaw broken, eye socket fractured and teeth knocked out wants people to see the shocking extent of her life-changing injuries.
Karl Machin, 44, filmed the violent beating, which left his partner with so much blood on her head that a police officer thought she had red hair.The woman, who does not wish to be named, wants people to see the full extent of the injuries she suffered in the attack, which took place just weeks before Christmas.The Liverpool Echo reports that the attack, which took place at the victim's home in Blackpool on December 4, 2022, also left her with concussion and a brain injury which has caused memory issues.
She also now suffers from speech impairment, while a broken orbital floor in her left eye socket causes her eyelid to not shut properly, water and droop.The attack also left her with bruises on her legs, ribs and back, two black eyes, and nerve and tissue damage on her face which affected her smile.
She was also scarred emotionally by the incident.Machin, of Blackpool, admitted Section 18 wounding and was jailed for seven years and two months when he appeared in court over the attack.
