Woman who went undercover to help snare killer ex could launch legal action against Police Scotland

A woman who lived with her killer fiancé to help detectives gather vital evidence against him is to launch legal action against police.

Caroline Muirhead was the key prosecution witness in the murder of cyclist Tony Parsons and provided the breakthrough to solve the long running cold case.

The forensic pathologist was able to lead police to his shallow grave in a Highland estate after her lover Alexander ‘Sandy’ McKellar confessed that he and twin brother Robert had killed the grandfather and buried his body.
