Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed his assistant manager Mitchell van der Gaag will be taking his place on the touchline for Sunday afternoon's encounter with Everton.
The Reds' boss was handed a one-match touchline ban in the victory against Luton Town prior to the international break after picking up his third booking of the season.
The Premier League changed the threshold for suspensions at the beginning of the season, a reduction from the four booking limit last campaign.
As such, Ten Hag will be sitting in the director's box at Goodison Park this afternoon and will not be allowed on the touchline at any point this afternoon.
