Strictly Come Dancing is back for a 22nd series with the show set to welcome 15 new famous faces. The fresh batch of the celebs will be paired up with a professional dancer and will get to strut their stuff in front of a live studio audience in a bid to get their hands on the Glitterball Trophy.
Among those taking part this year is singer and 80s pop icon, actress and TV presenter Toyah Willcox. The 66-year-old fronted the punk band Toyah from 1977 to 1983, before going solo, and enjoyed success with songs including It's a Mystery, Thunder in the Mountains and I Want to Be Free.
Toyah's appearance in this year's series was confirmed during Vernon Kay’s Radio 2 show at the start of August. She said: “Ann Widdecombe, I loved her strength of personality, her conviction, her self-confidence. I mean, that’s a real focus point for me.
