Strictly Come Dancing fans have branded one decision 'criminal' as this year's pairings were unveiled. The launch show of the BBC One dance contest's 2024 series aired on Saturday night (September 14) marking the return of the hit show.

The programme saw this year's crop of celebrity contestants being partnered up with their professional dancers for the first time during the pre-recorded show ahead of their first live performances next Saturday (September 21).

He's been paired with 80s music legend Toyah Willcox who said of being matched with Neil: "I met Neil and I was in heaven. All of you are beautiful boys but not as beautiful as Neil!" Sadly, however, some dancers have missed out on having dance partners this year and they are: Lauren Oakley, Kai Widdrington and Carlos Gu.
