A woman who was attempting to purchase 100 cucumbers in Lidl says she was 'barred' for trying to buy too much fruit and vegetables.

Lisa Fearns has to buy a large amount of cucumbers every week for her business, making and selling detox juices. She says she has been buying the cucumbers from the discount supermarket chain for the past three years.

But after visiting the supermarket on Sunday (February 19), the mum-of-two said she was approached by a manager who "barred" her from taking all of the cucumbers, reports the ECHO.

Lisa said: "I've been going [to Lidl] every week on a Sunday for three years. I get there at 10am because I need the cucumbers to be fresh then I make juices in the day. I needed 100 cucumbers.
